Most recently, Jon served as Director of Operations at LF Bioenergy, where he oversaw operational readiness and contributed to business development. His role spanned safety, environmental compliance, technical training, maintenance, and P&L — along with capex and opex planning and data management.

Earlier, Jon held leadership roles at Brightmark and Montauk Energy, managing operations and maintenance for multiple renewable natural gas plants and overseeing environmental, health, and safety compliance. His experience spans several industries, including Aerospace and Defense at NTS, where he led a team in the precision cleaning and packaging of mission-critical parts. He also managed operations at a food-waste processing facility for Divert Inc., and as a Supervising Production Engineer at WaferTech he led a large team in a high-tech cleanroom environment focused on productivity and system optimization.

Across his career, Jon has helped optimize more than $150 million in renewable energy assets, repeatedly improving efficiency and productivity by 10–20% while maintaining an exemplary safety record, including zero-incident plant startups. He brings particular strength in capital raising and project financing — helping clients secure grants, loans, and private investment — and has advocated directly with U.S. legislators for renewable energy tax credits and policies that support industry growth across multiple states.

Jon holds an MBA and a Master's of Finance from Auburn University, with focuses in Supply Chain Planning and Management Information Systems, as well as a BS in Chemical Engineering with a double focus in Biomaterials and Material Science from Oregon State University. He is currently pursuing a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence at Purdue University, expected to be completed at the end of 2026. His coursework covers electronic materials, biochemistry, polymers engineering, financial analysis, supply chain planning, organizational leadership, artificial intelligence, and project management — underlining a broad and versatile skill set. His career showcases expertise in operational leadership, project management, and continuous improvement within technical and highly regulated environments.

In his free time, Jon enjoys the outdoors with family and friends — hiking, fishing, and sports bring much fulfillment. The research and self-education he undertakes round out the rest of his time. His latest interest is the emergence of AI and how it intersects with the energy sector.
